Hi!I'm just wondering if my laptop supports a 64-bit windows xp? Well, yes, but XP-64 development was discontinued 3 years ago, and it never reached a usable state. If you insist on trying 64-bit working, your only options are Vista-64 and dozens of Linux distros. There is little or nothing to be gained from 64-bit processing, except for the most unlikely specialist requirements, but plenty of problems if you try.64-bit might become more mainstream around 2009-10 when Windows 7 is supposed to appear, but I still doubt it. I would reckon on years before a 64-bit OS takes a major role in OS. The v5535 seems to come in at least three processor configurations (makes you wonder why it has the same name.). The models all come with Vista, and there seems to be Vista-64 available.
Having said that, Fujitsu site is extremely coy about what is inside a V3353, and there is no way for me to tell if your actual model even has a 64-bit processor. I have to say Fujitsu's site strikes me as being wholely unreliable.I would be very cautious indeed. Ethernet controller pci ven 8086 dev 1503. Note you would probably have to pay full wack for the upgrade, that you cannot load just any old driver on Vista-64 - it has to be signed - and there is limited or no support for a great deal of things you might want to connect to your laptop (cameras, scanners, printers, sound, backup, phones etc etc. Also it is obvious from the many postings on this site that many, many people who quite recently bought a laptop with Vista installed have gone to great lengths to install XP in it's place. Although admitedly, things might be better after SP1.

I personally would wait for Windows 7 SP1, but then I use my computers as tools, not toys.
